Ireland and Northern Ireland’s Population Health Observatory (INIsPHO) aims to provide health intelligence support to decision-makers as a way to help improve the public’s health and reduce health inequalities on the island of Ireland.

The Observatory pursues this aim by producing, disseminating and supporting the use of relevant health intelligence while strengthening the research and information infrastructure on the island.

The first is a short-term objective; the second a longer-term objective.
