Also covered will be the current project to embed the NPHL as a sub-set of SNOMED CT and the need for a productive Working Group.

The All-Ireland electronic Health Library (AIeHL) and international connections

Kevin P Balanda
Director - Ireland & Northern Ireland's Population Health Observatory (INIsPHO)

The All-Ireland electronic Health Library (AIeHL) is an initiative of Ireland and Northern Ireland's Population Health Observatory (INIsPHO). AIeHL is a network of "interoperable" websites that can be searched simultaneously. Each website contains different types of knowledge resources related to health and well-being including policy and strategy documents, data (numerical and non-numerical), research and evaluation reports, other media, project details, contacts and websites.

The AIeHL support effective decision-making by helping people to more easily bring together knowledge resources that are distributed across many websites.

In this talk we give an outline of the library's development and its connection to international developments.

The seminar ends with coffee & sandwiches.
