INIsPHO Training Workshop - Sligo
Start: 18 Aug 2008 - 14:00
End: 18 Aug 2008 - 16:00
INIsPHO Event Programme 2008
Ireland & Northern-Ireland’s Population Health Observatory’s (INIsPHO) training workshops focus on the practical issues in the development, dissemination and use of health intelligence.
The training they provide is tailored for all those working across the health sectors who are interested in strengthening their decision-making through better use of relevant, timely and reliable health intelligence.
To support the use of both numerical and non-numerical intelligence, INIsPHO (housed within the Institute of Public Health in Ireland), has developed two web-based initiatives. These are the All Ireland electronic Health Library (AIeHL) and the INIsPHO eData system.
Our workshops conducted throughout the island, north and south will provide an introduction to these web-based tools and practical training in their use. Available to health care providers, service managers, policy makers, the community and voluntary sector, it is our aim to continue with and build on our workshop initiative from 2007 so as to better facilitate the translation of health intelligence into evidence-based policy and practice.
