Irish data sources
The INIsPHO eData system is designed to meet a wide variety of user needs by providing access to aggregated data and the tools to analyse it. The INIsPHO eData system contains tables of pre-calculated information as well as datasets in which users can create their own population subgroups by as well as defining what indicators they want and calculate these for their chosen population subgroups.
The CSO is the Government body responsible for compiling Irish official statistics. It provides data and information on methodology.
NISRA provides basic economic and demographic information for
Irish Social Science Data Archive (ISSDA)
ISSDA aims to ensure a wider access to both Irish and international datasets. It holds an ever-increasing quantity of machine-readable data from surveys and official statistics (such as the Census) and makes them readily available to users in the academic, public and commercial sectors.
